In just under 20 years, Mama’s has become a well-known lunch spot for many Vaasa residents.
But how did i all start?
HOME COOKING AND THEATER LIFE
Mama’s Kitchen & Bar began in 2005 when Pete Kangasoja from Kauhajoki established a lunch restaurant with catering services in downtown Vaasa with his friend. 10 years later, Pete’s wife Hanna, who is a chef from Kauhajoki, also joined the business. In 2023 Mama’s moved to the former premises of Restaurant Kulma. Now, the restaurant offers mouthwatering lunches and also provides thrilling taste experiences for theater guests during intermission and after the evening shows.
